It is rare nowadays to find fantasy series delivered to readers in such timely and succinct fashion. Authors now write them in tomes that extent to ten volumes or more, or simply abandon them. I started this series from volume 4, searched for volume 1-3 ( hence this book ), then bought volume 5 & 6. The series was supposed to end at volume 6, but given so many unresolved issues I am expecting more. Each book in the series ran about 350 pages, so not too onerous to even finish each in a day or two. The story itself is simple but engaging, delivered in a humorous and self-depreciating fashion. In fact I like each book that I have at least gone through them 3 times, a good way to pass a slow weekend.Product details

I enjoyed the book very much.
This is an entertaining, engrossing book with a great deal of humor. The characters are well portrayed and interesting. I love the shadow dragons.
